Home School Groups
Planning your home school visit to AGSA
AGSA Education are delighted to welcome home school groups to the Gallery. To ensure a rewarding and enjoyable experience for your children, we encourage you to plan a visit that allows for flexibility.
Choose the right activity for your group
AGSA offers a variety of engaging programs tailored to different age groups and home school groups are eligible for equity prices for programs and school exhibition tickets. When booking read the workshop descriptions to consider whether these meet the needs and interests of your children.
We sometimes receive requests to undertake multiple activities on the one day. On paper it might seem achievable, but this can be tiring for some children. A self-guided experience can often be an enjoyable way to experience works of art on display. We have a variety of resources to support a self-guided visits that promote critical and creative thinking.
Booking Expectations
Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully before confirming your visit.
If you’ve booked a guided tour with one of our volunteer guides or a facilitated session such as The Studio or a Drawing in the Gallery workshop, please note that changes to these booking cannot be made on the day. This includes changing your mind or switching to a self-guided visit. Our facilitators and volunteer Gallery Guides prepare in advance to deliver a high-quality experience, so we appreciate your understanding.
