Rising Sun is a unique photographic and multimedia storytelling project that builds cultural maintenance with the Adnyamathanha nation. In order to keep Adnyamathanha culture and Country strong, the team behind Rising Sun believes that Yura and Udny (Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people) need to share, document and respect the stories in new ways.

Rising Sun presents four contemporary photographic stories that invite the viewer to transcend the beauty of the topography of the Flinders Ranges and its surrounds in order to see that the country’s stories continue to be important and powerful even after first contact and colonisation.
