Tarnanthi Exhibition

Handheld II brings together five artists from across South Australia to create works of art that respond to themes of home, travel and place. The artists – Christopher Burthurmarr Crebbin, Debra Rankin, Sandra Saunders, Peter Sharrock and Karumapuli Jacob Stengle – have each been commissioned to produce a new work designed to fit in a suitcase.

The second iteration of Handheld invites audience to explore differing and personal responses to contemporary ideas of place and its meaning to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Handheld II is curated by Eleanor Scicchitano and Coby Edgar.
