Art Tour: Sydney Contemporary 2026

Experience Sydney Contemporary in the company of fellow art enthusiasts. Led by Leigh Robb, Curator of Contemporary Art, this intimate trip offers rare, behind-the-scenes access to Sydney’s most dynamic creative spaces. From private collector homes to intimate studio visits with leading artists, this is an unmatched way to experience the fair.

Program highlights

• Private Party: Kick off the tour with welcome drinks and a cocktail party in an exceptional private collection.
• Artists' Studio and Private Collection Visits: Spend time inside the creative spaces of Gemma Smith and Sam Cranstoun, as well as the Paramatta Artist Studios.
• Exhibition Preview: Be amongst the first to preview the solo exhibitions of Heather B Swann and Jordan Gower with artists and curators at UNSW Galleries.
• Art Fair Highlights: Enjoy VVIP early access to Sydney Contemporary alongside a tour led by Leigh Robb.
• Exclusive Artist Tour: A private walkthrough of Tony Albert’s Not a Souvenir at the MCA with the artist, and a special guest appearance from Nell discussing her new sculptural work for the Loti Smorgon Sculpture Terrace.
• Powerhouse Museum Visit: A curatorial and design tour of Sydney’s newest cultural development, ahead of its public opening. 

The final itinerary will be shared with trip participants in August 2026.
