Support the next generation of art lovers

At the Art Gallery of South Australia, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to experience the transformative power of art.

Each year, our creative education programs spark curiosity, inspire imagination and encourage critical thinking in students of all ages. Through guided tours, hands-on workshops, and innovative learning resources, we help students see the world differently.

For many students, encountering original works of art, seeing their scale, texture, and detail firsthand, is a powerful, lasting experience that brings learning to life.

This year, we are excited to present Monet to Matisse: Defying Tradition, an extraordinary exhibition featuring 57 masterworks from the renowned collection of the Toledo Museum of Art. Spanning movements from Impressionism to Abstract Expressionism, this exhibition offers students a rare opportunity to encounter some of the most influential artists of the 19th and 20th centuries.

We invite you to support AGSA’s Education Programs during this landmark exhibition and beyond. Your gift will help fund transport subsidies so more students especially those from regional and disadvantaged schools, can visit the Gallery, while also strengthening our broader education initiatives for the future.

With your support, we can: • Enable access to world-class exhibitions through transport assistance • Deliver hands-on learning experiences and curriculum-linked resources • Expand outreach programs to schools unable to visit the Gallery

A gift of any size will make a meaningful difference - now for Monet to Matisse, and into the future for generations of young learners.

Thank you for helping us open minds, broaden perspectives, and inspire creativity.
