Drawing outside of the Gallery

During Term 3 and Term 4 AGSA Education are pleased to offer this outreach opportunity for schools who are unable to visit the Gallery. One of our trained facilitators will visit your school and deliver a workshop that responds to works of art in the collection.

Inspired by our 10 ways of thinking through drawing resource, students will be led through a range of drawing activities, with an emphasis on mark making, risk taking and critical and creative thinking. Students will discover how to use drawing as a means of practising looking with purpose.

We encourage teachers to participate in the workshop however the teacher is responsible for duty of care and behaviour management of the class and must be present for the duration of the session.
