The arts have the capacity to personalise learning where other subjects do not. This session will include strategies for responding to (not copying) an artist’s work. We will share ideas and activity suggestions you can implement in the classroom with ease – that make connections to Australian Curriculum. Let us move away from the ‘cookie-cutter projects’ and prioritise lines of inquiry that emphasise a connection between an artist’s practice and the individuality of the student.

This session is designed as a taster workshop, providing activity suggestions that can be modified for early years, primary and secondary – these options will be highlighted throughout the online presentation.

Alternatively, AGSA Education offer tailored workshops for individual teachers or schools interested in specific areas of arts learning.
