Year 8 Cyanotypes - Woodcroft College

Quandamooka artists Sonja and Leecee Carmichael have been a source of inspiration for Year 8 Woodcroft College students this year. The cyanotypes by the Carmichaels are informed by their family’s deep cultural connections to the land and seas of Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island). The students' cyanotypes depict drawings of marine life and silhouettes of people floating under the sea, highlighting their relationship with the natural world, akin to the way Sonja and Leecee Carmichael made connection to their own environment.
