Cedric Varcoe is a Ramindjeri-Ngarrindjeri and Narangga artist who lives on Country. His work talks about Nurungeri, an important story for the Ngarrindjeri people. Nurungeri is a giant ancestor whose great adventure shaped the creation of the lands and waters. He is also a law giver, who instigated laws and ceremonies about connection and belonging.

Varcoe shares stories through his works of art. He wants people to connect to their miwi, the spirit that makes us and shapes us as a person and connects us to our totems and life that belongs to Country.
