Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online via the exhibition page. We recommend booking in advance, as popular dates and times may sell out.

After purchase, your ticket will be emailed to you and can be presented on a mobile device or printed for entry.

Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Gallery Concierge Desk in the Atrium or at the Gallery Shop.

What time can I enter with a Timed Ticket?

Your ticket includes a 30-minute entry window (for example, 10–10.30am). You may enter at any time during this period.

Once inside, you are welcome to enjoy the exhibition for as long as you like during standard Gallery opening hours.

What happens if I miss my Timed Ticket session?

If you arrive more than 30 minutes after your allocated entry window, please proceed to the exhibition entrance in Gallery 25. Staff will do their best to accommodate you in the next available session, subject to capacity.

Can I change the time of my Timed Ticket?

Yes, provided there is availability in your preferred session.

If you purchased your ticket online, you can change your entry time using the link included in your confirmation email.

If you purchased your ticket in person, please call (08) 8207 7021 during Gallery opening hours and our team will assist you.

I have a Flexi Ticket. Do I need to select a visit time?

No. Flexi Tickets can be used at any time during standard Gallery opening hours and do not require a pre-booked entry time.

Can I buy a ticket when I arrive?

Yes. Tickets may be purchased in person at the Gallery, subject to availability.

How long can I stay in the exhibition?

There is no time limit on your visit once you have entered the exhibition, regardless of whether you hold a Timed Ticket or a Flexi Ticket.

Can I leave and re-enter the exhibition?

Tickets are valid for a single entry only, with the exception of Season Pass holders.

Pass-outs and re-entry are not available for other ticket types.

I have a Seniors Card. Can I purchase a concession ticket?

Yes. Seniors Card holders can access concession-priced Wednesday Seniors Card Tickets for timed-entry sessions on Wednesdays.

I have a Companion Card. How do I obtain a complimentary ticket for my companion or carer?

Companion Card holders can purchase their own exhibition ticket online (Timed or Flexi) and collect a complimentary Companion Card ticket for their companion or carer from the Atrium Ticket Desk on arrival.

When is the last entry to the exhibition?

The final timed-entry session begins one hour before closing, with last entry available up to 30 minutes before closing.

For the best experience, we recommend arriving at least 45 minutes before closing to allow sufficient time to view the exhibition.

Please note that the exhibition begins closing 15 minutes before the Gallery closes.

Can I cloak my bag?

Yes. Large bags and backpacks must be cloaked and can be stored in either of the Gallery's cloakrooms, located in the Vestibule and the Atrium.

Small shoulder bags may be carried throughout the exhibition.
