In Wet sand, Anglesea, she turns her viewpoint to capture the visual splendour of the sunset glow against the ochre cliffs and its sparkle on the wet sand. The sun is gone, yet strips of beach and the ochre cliffs remain and dissolve into a unified luminous colour field, pushing the rendering of nature almost into abstraction.
