It’s time to pop the bubble and celebrate the final days of Yield Strength with a day of exploration, creativity and discovery. Enjoy hands-on workshops, live performances, talks, tours and more.
Plus, it's your last chance to enter the 2026 Start Art Prize - create a symbolic collage and submit to be part of the exhibition.

Start Art Adventures

Discover art in a new way by following the theme of Yield Strength, explore perspectives and the wonder of different ways of viewing art.

Immerse yourself in a world of mega bubbles with the crew from Kaleidoskope Arts.

Start Art Workshops

Create a collage combining text and imagery of something special to you or of an event that has made an impression on you for entry in the 2026 Start Art Prize exhibition.

Resident Start DJ Angel spins tunes in the Courtyard.

Vocalists and sound artists Georgia Oatley and Margie Jean Lewis perform Soak, a specially composed work presented within Yield Strength in Gallery 25.
12pm & 1.30pm
DJ SVVLO closes out the event with a set of funky beats in the Courtyard. SVVLO (Pronounced “Sav-Low”) was born on Arrernte land but belongs to various NT groups. SVVLO has DJ’d across the city and state at various events and festivals.
