In order to be considered for a Gallery Guide position please complete the application form below. Please ensure you have read the frequently asked questions before applying.

You may like to complete your answers to the application in a Word document first, then copy and paste your answers into the boxes provided below.

Selection process

Applications will be reviewed by a panel of Gallery Guides and AGSA staff.
A shortlist will be made and these applicants will be invited to attend a group interview session in mid July.
Successful applicants from the group interviews will then be required for 1:1 interviews in late July.
Successful applicants will be notified early August.

New Gallery Guides will undertake a 12 month training program beginning Tuesday 13 October, 2026.

AGSA is deeply committed to increasing reconciliation outcomes by improving understanding through art, inspiring audiences through cultural experiences, amplifying First Nations voices and expanding First Nations opportunities. The AGSA Gallery Guides play a critical role in delivering on this commitment. Reflect on this and comment in 200 words or less.
