Join Nici Cumpston, Curator of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art, for a tour to north-east Arnhem Land and experience one of the country's most vibrant art centres, Buku- Larrŋgay Mulka Centre.

Expanding on the Gurrutu exhibition, a highlight of Tarnanthi 2019, guests will spend an unforgettable two days in Yirrkala, learning about Yolŋu art and culture, visiting homelands and meeting artists and their families. Guests will then travel to Cairns to be among the first to experience the vibrant 2020 Cairns Indigenous Art Fair.

Tour includes: Welcome dinner in Darwin, 2 nights accommodation at Gove Peninsula Motel; flights to Gove airport from Darwin; lunches in Yirrkala; tours and transfers around Yirrkala and Gove; flights to Cairns from Gove, VIP access to Cairns Indigenous Art Fair.

Not included: airfares to Darwin; returning airfares from Cairns to home destination; accommodation in Darwin or Cairns; meals unless otherwise indicated on itinerary.
