Transport Subsidy for Monet to Matisse: Defying Tradition

With generous support from our Exhibition Luminaries, AGSA Education are pleased to announce transport subsidies for school visits to Monet to Matisse: Defying Tradition in term 3 or term 4 in 2026.

This subsidy is available for all Department for Education schools and all regional schools. Each site can apply for up to $1000 to go towards transport to the Gallery. Each successful school will receive complimentary entry to the exhibition for all students and supporting adults (as per our ratio specifications) visiting as part of the subsidy.

Selection Process

Priority will be given to schools that;

have not visited the Gallery in two years or more
are category 1-4 sites
located more than 30km outside of the CBD
do not have public transport easily accessible to the school site

Applications close Monday 18 May 2026 at 5pm.

Successful applicants will be notified from 1 June 2026 via email.

How much are you applying for? Please note: Each school can apply up to $1000 as a contribution towards the cost of return transport to the Art Gallery of South Australia to see Monet to Matisse. If you need less please stipulate so we can support more schools visit AGSA.

If your school is located more than 250km from AGSA and you would require additional funds, please stipulate how much you would need to make a visit to this exhibition possible? E.g. charter bus costs, flights instead of bus, accommodation etc. We cannot guarantee addition funds, but we are always pursing philanthropic opportunities to provide greater access for regional schools.
