The arts have the capacity to personalise learning where other subjects do not. This pre-recorded session will include strategies for responding to (not copying) an artist’s work. We will share ideas and activity suggestions you can implement in the classroom with ease – that make connections to Australian Curriculum. Let us move away from the ‘cookie-cutter projects’ and prioritise lines of inquiry that emphasise a connection between an artist’s practice and the individuality of the student.

This session is designed as a taster workshop, providing activity suggestions that can be modified for early years, primary and secondary – these options will be highlighted throughout the online presentation.

Alternatively, AGSA Education offer tailored workshops for individual teachers or schools interested in specific areas of arts learning.
