This session features artists Jonathan McBurnie and Luke Thurgate. Both presenters will suggest ways of thinking through art making, the importance of practice and experimentation and using collage a compositional tool. A hands-on practical component is included during the session so make sure you have your materials ready.

Scissors
Paper (cartridge or a journal)
Gluestick
Raw collage materials (magazines, comics, books, printouts; these are best if they contain imagery of some significance or attraction to the artist).
Eraser
Your choice of an erasable drawing material (pencil, graphite, charcoal etc).
