Glenunga International High School Year 8 Experimental Studio Visual Art students designed and created a fabric square for a collaborative class quilt responding to the Radical Textiles exhibition at the Art Gallery of South Australia, with particular reference to Nell's: NELL ANNE QUILT.

Inspired by the Stitch & Resist initiative, students explored how creativity can express ideas of wellbeing, connection and social action. They applied their understanding of design and composition to generate, refine and construct a design that communicated their intended message through fabric, stitching or collage elements.
