Year 8 Design - Cabra Dominican College

Year 8 students at Cabra Dominican College had fun learning about Layne Dhu-Dickie and Ray Mudjandi’s comic book inspired works by identifying their own superpowers. Students considered their own abilities and attributes, as well as those they aspire to achieve and became their own superhero. Developing themselves as characters with the potential to make an impact on the world was wonderful way for students to share more about their own story.

Working through the design process they created a bold superhero logo that was lino-printed in multiple colour ways. They then created a digital work including their character, logo, and explanation.
