Year 9 Portraits - Pedare Christian College

After visiting the Frida and Diego: Love and Revolution at AGSA, Year 9 students developed their own self-portrait using mixed media collage to show their personal interests and individuality. They were inspired by their time in the Studio creating collages in response to Alice Lindstrom and introduced an element of this into the borders of their self-portraits. The idea of visually framing the artwork stemmed from conversations about the presentation of the work within the Frida and Diego exhibition and how the work was curated.
