Join the excitement on North Terrace at the launch of Tarnanthi: Festival of Contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art.

The night begins on the AGSA forecourt with a Kaurna Welcome to Country.

Tarnanthi 2019 will be opened by Djambawa Marawili AM, celebrated Yolŋu artist and ceremonial leader of the Maḏarrpa clan, appointed to the Prime Minister’s Indigenous Advisory Council in 2014.

Stay and enjoy a performance by Yolŋu award-winning hip hop sensation Baker Boy.

Then head inside AGSA and be the first to experience Tarnanthi at AGSA.

The entertainment continues into the night with a Tiwi performance at 7:30pm in Gallery 9 and DJ MoZzi playing in the courtyard from 7.45pm.
