Monet to Matisse Friday Nights: Kara Manansala

Every Friday, Monet to Matisse stays open late for an after‑hours experience with art, beats and bubbles. Kick back with live music, Taittinger champagne and French-inspired bar snacks (available to purchase), plus unlimited access to more than 100 works spanning a century of modern art – from Monet and Cézanne, to Matisse and Mondrian.

This week, hear the poetic music of Kara Manansala. Representing the raw and soulful, Kara is a musician hailing from Kaurna Yarta, weaving heartfelt lyricism in a jazz cadence that motions the listener to move and feel moved.

Inspired by blended sounds of neo-soul, nu-jazz and contemporary folk, her art lies in the intricate details - combining thought-provoking lyricism with rich harmony, deep groove, improvisation and heart.
