Karla Dickens
Karla Dickens (b. 1967, Sydney) is a Wiradjuri artist who lives and works in Goonellabah, Lismore, New South Wales. Dickens’ work weaves together political and personal concerns which often return to themes of race, spirituality, gender and sexuality. Dickens utilises collage and assemblage across her practice, including her paintings, sculpture and photography.
