Celebrating 10 Years of Tarnanthi
The ever-popular Tarnanthi Art Fair returns in October as an opportunity to learn about First Nations art and artists and to purchase great works of art. Works for sale include paintings, ceramics, sculpture, woven works, jewellery, textiles, clothes and homewares, created by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists working independently or from art centres across the country.
All works are made and sold ethically, and every dollar from every purchase goes directly to the artists and their community-run art centres delivering important economic benefits to communities nationwide where art production is a vital source of income.

Union House is a wheelchair accessible venue.
Accessible parking is available nearby at:
- Wilson Parking, North Terrace, level 1 near lift (parking fees apply), 80 metres from the Gallery.
- U-Park, Gawler Place, every level near lift (parking fees apply), 300 metres from the Gallery.
- Victoria Drive directly outside and adjacent to the entryway to Adelaide University.
- Please do not park within Adelaide University grounds.
Accessible entry to Union House is available via level 4 if you are coming from North Terrace. Accessible entry is available via ground level if you are coming from Victoria Drive. Follow the wayfinding signs for directions to accessible ramps and elevators to access the Art Fair.

By bus
Numerous bus routes [routes 97, 98, 99, 170, 171, 172, 174, 176, 178, 281, 286, 287, 288, 613, 626, 630] run on North Terrace. Alight near Pulteney Street at stop T1 (westbound) or G1 (eastbound), right outside AGSA. Travel down the eastern laneway next to AGSA and follow the Art Fair wayfinding signage.
If your bus runs on nearby Grenfell Street, alight near Pulteney Street and walk 250 metres north to North Terrace. Travel down the eastern laneway next to AGSA and follow the Art Fair wayfinding signage.
If your bus runs on King William Street, alight near North Terrace and walk 450 metres east. Travel down the eastern laneway next to AGSA and follow the Art Fair wayfinding signage.
By train
Adelaide Railway Station is a five-minute walk from Union House. Exit the station, turn left onto North Terrace and walk east 600 metres. Travel down the eastern laneway next to AGSA and follow the Art Fair wayfinding signage.
By tram
Trams run frequently along North Terrace. Alight at either Art Gallery or University of Adelaide stops and walk 125 metres. You can also hop off at Rundle Mall and walk 600m. Travel down the eastern laneway next to AGSA and follow the Art Fair wayfinding signage.
By car
On-street parking and numerous commercial off-street car parks are available nearby. Wilson Parking on North Terrace, directly opposite AGSA, or parking on Victoria Drive, are the most convenient.
By bicycle
Bicycle parking is available 10 metres to the west of AGSA’s main entrance or on Victoria Drive directly opposite the UniBar.
By taxi
The nearest taxi ranks are on Pulteney Street near Rundle Mall (300 metres from AGSA) and on North Terrace outside the Railway Station and Casino (approximately 500 metres west of AGSA).
