Immerse yourself in light as part of Illuminate Adelaide

The Studio is open weekends and school holidays with sessions every half hour, limited places available, register on arrival at The Studio.

Patch Theatre has been expanding the minds of South Australia’s children for nearly half a century. They’ve travelled the globe, but there’s one frontier they’ve never explored: the Art Gallery of South Australia.

With the support of the James and Diana Ramsay Foundation, Patch commandeers The Studio at AGSA for the first time. Drawing inspiration from a work by Czech-Australian Surrealist Dušan Marek, a painting concurrently on display in AGSA’s major exhibition Surrealists at Sea, Patch has created a glowing interactive sea floor. Art lovers of all ages are invited to immerse themselves in this Surrealist experience, and ‘draw in light.’
