Learn, share and experiment across a series of free skill swap sessions with South Australian artist Sera Waters.

As part of Waters’ exhibition currently on display in Gallery 8 you are invited to share your own textile skills and add to a collaborative ‘sampler’ in an effort to pass on skills freely from one person to the next. Waters is interested in the act of skill-sharing to ensure the survival and restoration of textile traditions while developing new skills which carry us into the future.

This workshop will begin with a short tour of the exhibition.
