Join a panel of local artists led by Eleen Deprez, Assistant Editor at Artlink, as they discuss the use of found objects as vessels for memory keeping in art.

6.45pm Poetry Performance: Tessa Leon and Adam Whiting
Tessa Leon is a philosopher poet, meditation teacher, and performance artist living on Kaurna land. As co-founder of Human.Kind Studios, her work sparks insight, reconstructs meaning, and helps find fluency in our shared humanity. In the Yield Strength exhibition space she'll be offering spoken-word portals to awe and interconnection, accompanied by acoustic guitar from Adam Whiting.

7pm - Performance by Ella Ion
Emerging from Kaurna Land (Adelaide, Australia), fragmented-folk musician Ella Ion crafts music that cuts deep to the core. Drawing on influences of indie-rock, folk and country, her eloquent lyricism and masterful musical control delivers a cacophony of raw emotion, anchored by grit and heart.

7pm - Slow Down Tour
Slow down with artist Zoe Butters for an interactive tour of the 2026 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art: Yield Strength to explore art and materiality in a new way.
This is not your standard Gallery tour. On a Slow Down tour participants will have an opportunity to engage with works in new ways, slowly. From sensory walks to exploring tactile objects, you will learn about a small selection of Biennial artists, key themes and ideas with a focus on the senses and materiality.
