Join us for a screening of Making a Mark to learn more about the Ramsay Art Prize, and The James and Diana Ramsay Foundation whose generous contribution help create career pathways for young artists. After the screening hear from Making a Mark's Co-Executive Producers Anna Vincent & Richard Jasek Board member James and Diana Ramsay Foundation, 2025 judge & AGSA Deputy Director Emma Fey and two time Ramsay Art Prize finalist Alfred Lowe.

En Plein Air Painting Workshop with Gemma Rose Brook

Capture the interplay of nature and architecture in real time under the open sky and flanked by natural light. Gathering inspiration from the Dangerously Modern exhibition, join contemporary artist Gemma Rose Brook who invites you to paint boldly from life.

All materials supplied, suitable for over 16 years and all levels of experience. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered for the workshop.

Immersive Sonic Experience

Let sound artist Dylan Wright lead you on an auditory journey. Inspired by the Dangerously Modern exhibition, Wright has composed a musical set which interpolates the melodic themes of two pieces of music, Ethel Smith’s The March Of The Women and Florence Price’s Adoration. Complementing the visual experience Wright's set will evoking deeper emotions and connections. Stay for the whole set or enjoy the ambiance while moving through the Gallery.
