Musical Performance - Nathan May

Adelaide based Country/Folk artist, Nathan May joins us for a set of sultry vocals laid over colourful guitars and up-tempo country rhythms. A descendant of the Arabana, Yawuru and Marridjabin family groups of South Australia, Nathan was inspired to follow his passion for music after he met President Barack Obama in 2011. He was also selected by Glen Skuthorpe to be the support act for his National Tour See My World and since then has been a part of events such as the Adelaide Fringe Festival. Come see Nathan share his captivating talent in the AGSA courtyard.

Nunga Screen

Formerly known as Black Screen, Nunga (First Nations people of southern South Australia) Screen features an entertaining program of independent films presented by Country Arts SA with support from the South Australian Film Corporation in the Radford Auditorium throughout the duration of this First Friday. Held annually between Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week, Nunga Screen is a FREE short film showcase for all ages that shares and celebrates First Nations culture, stories and language through film.

Musical Performance - Kyarna Rose

Join established Yuin Nation musician, Kyarna Rose as she entrances us with her illustrious voice and beautiful songwriting. Now based in South Australia, Kyarna has supported the renowned Archie Roach and iconic Australian band Goanna. Experience Kyarna's ability to connect with people through music in the courtyard.

Join esteemed First Nations poets Dominic Guerrera, Shania Richards & Tyberius Larking for a thought provoking poetry experience as we close Reconciliation Week. Take the time to reflect on the current position of some of South Australia's most prolific First Nations voices as they respond to some of the works in the Elder Wing.
