Design is everywhere, but good design has the potential to improve lives and sustain our natural environment. Participants will:

  • examine objects in the collection to explore the design process
  • develop strategies for critically analysing social, ethical and sustainable factors and implement strategies such as ‘life cycle thinking’
  • Hands-on making workshop with emphasis on the design process with South Australian designers Daniel + Emma and Alice Potter
