Explore the clean lines of geometric forms in this hands-on ceramic decoration workshop with artist Phil Hart. Inspired by Dangerously Modern artists like Anne Dangar and Gladys Reynell, decorate a ceramic vessel using modernist-inspired motifs. Creatives of all levels are invited to reimagine traditional pottery through the lens of modernist aesthetics.

About the Artist

Philip Hart has been making pottery in Adelaide for over 30 years producing decorative functional works and exhibition pieces. After attending the North Adelaide School of Art and training at the Jam Factory Contemporary Craft Workshops (St Peters), he worked at Jamboree Clay Workshop, Welland. He returned to the Jam Factory to work as Studio Manager and later as Creative Director of the Ceramics Studio. More recently Hart has worked on a number of public art projects and been a part-time lecturer at Adelaide College of the Arts and the University of South Australia.
