- Charles I (1625-1649) silver twelve shillings, Third Coinage, Type IVa, Murray 1, Falconer's Second Issue. Obverse: Crowned bust to left with "XII" indicating denomination behind the head with legend: "CAROLVS D.G. MAGN BRITAN FRANC ET HIB REX" (Charles by the grace of God King of Great Britain France and Ireland), "F" at end of obverse legend. Reverse: Crown over royal shield dividing "C R". Legend: "QVÆ DEVS CONIVNXIT NEMO SEPARET" (What God hath joined together let no man put as under).
