Biography

Iordanes Spyridon Gogos (IGS), is a Sydney-based fashion house established in 2019 by Creative Director Jordan Gogos (b. 1995). IGS is known for its highly conceptual, one-off approach to fashion design. Gogos is part of a current movement in fashion, spearheaded by a handful of young, mostly queer designers bringing conceptual collaborative practice to the heart of the Australian fashion industry.

Gogos presented his first collection at Australian Fashion Week, Sydney in 2021 to much acclaim. Since that time he has worked with leading Australian fashion designers including Akira Isogawa (b. 1964), Jenny Kee (b.1947), Linda Jackson (b.1950) and Jenny Bannister (b. 1954).
