This captivating exhibition delves into the lives and art of fifty trailblazing artists who defied social constraints to pursue their dreams across Europe and beyond at the turn of the twentieth century. From Grace Crowley and Ethel Carrick to Bessie Davidson and Stella Bowen, these bold and daring women knew a brilliant career in London or Paris was within their reach.

Marking the 50th anniversary of International Women's Year, the exhibition is presented by the Art Gallery of South Australia in partnership with Art Gallery of New South Wales. Curated by Elle Freak, Tracey Lock and Wayne Tunnicliffe.
